Special Features

The main objective of Casino Hold'em is to beat the dealer with a better hand. To place a bet, you need to put some chips on the table. To do this, just select some of the chips which are located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. The chips range in value from 1.00 all the way up to a whopping 100.00 a piece! You can also place chips into a circle called ‘AA Bonus’. This is an additional bonus bet which counts your own 2 cards and the 3 flop cards that are dealt on the first round of the game. It is not related to any other bets and you might lose a round but the AA bet might still win you something. Once you are happy enough with the chips you have chosen, press the ‘Deal’ button to begin the game.

When a round starts, the player is given 2 cards that are face-up and the dealer is given 2 cards that are face-down. The player is then presented with the option of raising or folding. If you choose to fold then you will lose your original wager and the game ends. If you decide to raise then you will automatically place a Call bet which is equal to twice your original wager and two more flop cards are added to the table. When all 5 flop cards are on the table, the Dealer’s cards are then turned over. The cards are then compared to the standard Poker Hand rankings and your best hand is formed by a combination between your 2 cards and the 5 flop cards. This is the same for a Dealer’s best hand too. The highest hand will win the round. Note that the Dealer can only qualify on a pair of 4’s or better.

If you find you are having a rub of the green with a certain bet then it is possible to reuse it over and over. To do this, all you have to do is press the ‘Rebet’ button after a round has been played. If you wish to remove the current bet, simply press the ‘Clear Bet’ button when a new round starts.

Theme, Graphics and Sound

To be fair, the graphics are a bit basic but this game is not too concerned with a flashy presentation as it is all about the action that takes place on the table between you and the dealer. The game is played on a silky green casino table that features a Spade symbol etched into its design. The animations are interesting as cards are dealt slowly which is intentional so as to heighten the tension that little bit more as the game plays out.

There is no music in this game but you will hear announcements from the Live Dealer as he informs you when to place bets and when a round has been won.

Win lines, Payouts and Jackpots

The game features a standard 52 card deck, an RTP ranging between 96% and 97%, and the maximum payout is 100:1 when you have a Royal Flush.

Our Verdict on Casino Hold'em

Casino Hold'em is made by PlayPearls and it is a whole new way of playing poker online. The main attraction of this game is that you are only playing against the Dealer and not against any other player. This creates a nice sense of urgency as you need to decide quickly when to raise or fold against the Dealer. It is also great that you can place additional side bets in this game as it gives you the chance of winning something even if you lose a round.
