Special Features

To form a winning combination in this game, you need to land 3 or matching symbols in a payline and payouts occur from left to right. Whenever you land a win on the reels in this slot then you will trigger the Respin feature which gives you another spin of the reels with the winning symbols becoming frozen in place for that spin. Respins continue until no new symbols freeze at which point the frozen symbols payout.

As you play the game, you will notice multiplier values ranging from 2X all the way up to 5X just above the reels. If you manage to fill consecutive columns from left to right then your win will be multiplied by how many columns you filled with identical frozen symbols. Theme, Graphics and Sound

The game features superb visuals as it transports players to a mysterious planet filled with all sorts of strange looking alien plant life. The background of the slot is a dark green hazy environment with plants displayed on the bottom of the reels and small fireflies floating upwards. Symbols are wonderfully designed and consist of a bunch of colourful alien pods and sprouts that are probably a bit hard to grow back on Earth! The animations are fantastic as symbols dart up and down the reels at a furious pace and are covered in a strange water-like substance whenever they are part of a win on the reels.

The music is full of strange hypnotic light-techno sounds. It ties in really well with the sci-fi theme of the slot.

Our Verdict on Fruitoids

This game comes from top software studio Yggdrasil Gaming and it is one crazy trip to an alien planet that you won’t forget anytime soon! It features outstanding graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and has the perfect amount of bonus features to keep the excitement levels up for a long time to come. I was able to trigger the Respins feature quite frequently while playing but the column multipliers took a bit more time to activate. Having said that, it’s definitely worth sticking around for when you consider the fact that you can get a nice 5X multiplier if you can fill all 5 columns. The only downside to this slot is that it does not feature any Wild symbols or Free Spins. Variance-wise, I found this slot to be in the Medium range so you won’t have to wait too long until you bag yourself a decent enough cash payout on the reels.
