Test your poker skills to the limit with this classic casino game.

Poker Madness is a variation of the classic casino table game Poker. Lately, more and more people are beginning to play traditional casino games online than ever before. Software developer PlayPearls noticed this trend and decided to release this variation of Poker in order to reel in the masses. The main appeal of this game is that the player is playing only against the dealer and not against any other player.

The game is played with a 52 card deck and features a nice range of bet options including Mad Bonus and Jacks Up.

Special Features

The idea behind this game is to beat the dealer with a better hand. The game features a nice range of winning combinations to beat the dealer with including Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Flush, and so on. To place a bet, all you need to do is select a chip from the deck and you can choose from colourful chips that range in size from 1 all the way up to 100. The purple chips are the highest chips in the game and are geared towards all the high rollers out there!

Each time you place a bet, you’ll notice an additional chip will be placed in the Mad Bonus circle at the same time so it is good to be aware of this when playing this game. The Mad Bonus bets offer a great choice of bets. For instance, if you manage to land Four Aces then the payout is a wonderful 250:1! To put chips down on the table, you need to click the ‘Ante’ button. You can also place an optional side-bet by clicking on the ‘Jacks Up’ button and then place individual chips there. Once you are happy enough with your bet, click the ‘Deal’ button to start the game.

The cards dealt to the player are shown face-up while all of the cards dealt to the dealer are shown face-down. Once all of the cards have been placed on the table, the player is presented with the option of raising or folding. The hands are then compared according to standard high poker rankings and the dealer will only qualify when they have a King or Higher in their hand. It is also worth noting that the best 4 card poker hand wins. If a draw takes place between you and the dealer then the original bet is returned to the player.

If you find a bet option that gives you a nice profit and want to use it again then all you have to do is press the ‘Rebet’ button after a hand has been played. If you prefer to remove the current bet then just click on the ‘Clear Bet’ button.

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The presentation is simple and quite basic which is not a bad thing as this game is all about the thrill of beating the dealer with a nice hand. The game is played out on a dark green felt table with a range of colourful chips displayed in front of an empty grey chair. When the cards are dealt, they are put down on the table in a slow fashion and this is deliberate so as to increase the tension as you play.

The game does not feature any music but you will hear instructions from the live dealer as to when to place your bets or when you or the dealer has won a round.

Win lines, Payouts and Jackpots

The game is played with a standard 52 card deck and has an RTP ranging between 96% and 97%. The maximum payout is 250:1 when you land Four Aces.

Our Verdict on Poker Madness

Poker Madness is made by PlayPearls and it’s an excellent take on a classic casino game. The presentation is a little dated but do not let that sway you from playing this game as there is plenty of fun to be had here. The optional Jacks Up side-bets is a nice addition to the game and should give players plenty of incentive to beat the dealer again and again.
