The tournament features a trio of starting flights; the players will begin with a nice stack of 25,000 tournament chips and play to 30-minute blinds which start at 50/100. Late registration is open until the end of the sixth level on each of the three Day 1s and a total of 12 levels will be played on each flight.

The Schedule

Day 1a commences promptly at 6 p.m. BST on May 25 with Day 1b shuffling up at the same time on May 26. The third and final starting flight starts at a slightly earlier time of 2 p.m. on May 27, with the final day getting underway at 1 p.m. on May 28.

The prize pool of £88,200 was shared among the top 54 finishers and Kanan Farzaliyev of Azerbaijan walked away with the winner’s trophy and £17,960. Prior to that tournament, a 560-strong field was bested by Paul Bahbout who got his hands on £21,780 for his £220 investment after beating Robert Lim of the Philippines heads up for the title.
