The championship race will be the UK's first professional drone race and will be held as part of London Tech Week, which features six of the best FPV (first person view) pilots.

Betting on-site will focus on two separate bets, including individual heat winners for each of the seven heats as well as the overall winner of the Championship, with viewers able to bet on the racing through the Betfair Sportsbook app.

Growing Interest Worldwide
The 2017 Drone Racing League season has six races and will be broadcast in more than 75 countries around the world, on channels including ESPN, Sky Sports, ProSiebenSat.1, Disney XD and OSN starting June. Last year it was seen by more than 75m viewers across the globe. The operator is yet to launch its drone racing markets on its UK-facing site.
