Everything you need to know about mFortune!Thursday, Nov 9, 2017 15:39
There is no magic, no trickery and no underhand tactics in the meteoric rise of mFortune over the past ten years of online gaming services. They have hit upon a formula that works wonders for them and made them one of the very best in the business, and they seem to have such a good team of staff behind them that there is pretty much no doubt that they will continue to be one of the top dogs well into the future.
Like all great oaks, this acorn had to start somewhere, that somewhere was in Birmingham, UK a decade ago in 2007. That was the year that the first iPhone was announced, George Bush’s last year in office and the year the last Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, was released. While that may seem like a long time ago it is really not that much time to do the extraordinary things that mFortune has done so far.
The original business activity was the manufacture and supply of leisure machines to the retail betting and pub trades. However the market began to change and mFortune adapt, the threat of the smoking ban, decreasing footfall in traditional pubs combined with the recession lead to diversification.
The cornerstone of the mFortune brand, the idea of developing games to be played via mobile phones was conceived whilst attempting to create a betting terminal that could be linked using Bluetooth to mobile devices and in 2008 mFortune released a suite of four games to the mobile market. These first online mobile mFortune games were Blackjack, Roulette, Poker and a somewhat rudimentary but still fun slots game.
A mobile Bingo game featuring a chat room was launched later that year. By 2011, additional chat rooms had been introduced and the portfolio of casino games had been extended.
So, since all of that they have had nothing but a dramatic and fast move up the chain to being one of the giants of the industry right alongside a whole host of firms and sites that have had the advantage of being around in the world of online gaming and land based gaming for a heck of a lot longer.
This progress has been recognised through numerous awards as well as through the fantastic response they constantly get from the most satisfied and happy customers in the online gaming world. mFortune has won numerous awards for its games over the years, most recently picking up Best Mobile Bingo product at the 2014 eGR Awards. In 2015, the London Stock Exchange Group named Intouch Games, the owner of the mFortune and PocketWin casino brands, as one of the 1,000 most inspirational companies in Britain.
mFortune create all of their games in-house and employ dozens of dedicated graphic designers, coders, developers and testers, all based in their West Midlands headquarters.
What is to come in the future of mFortune is not for me to say, I don’t have an ounce of clairvoyant ability in me. But if I were to guess I would feel pretty happy in guessing that they will no doubt continue to grow and expand their brand along with their service so that they can continue to make their customers happy. Cheers to the next ten years mFortune, may they be as fortuitous as the last.
