Online casino giant Sky Vegas has shelled out its largest ever jackpot after one of its players won £3.1m on Blueprint Gaming’s Jackpot King progressive jackpot network.

The fortunate Sky Vegas player won £3.1m from just a 20p stake on Blueprint’s The Pig Wizard slot game, this game was recently re-released in HTML5 format and included in the Jackpot King suite of linked progressive games.

The game is a five reel, 20-line slot game adventure, featuring four bonus games including Magic Mirror Free Spins, Trail of Magic and Squeal Or No Squeal. It is the biggest prize ever won on Sky Vegas and is also the second Jackpot King jackpot to be paid out following a previous £1.6m win.

“Congratulations to the lucky player who scooped the largest jackpot ever off Jackpot King, it’s a life changing amount,” said Matt Cole, managing director of Gauselmann Group’s Blueprint Gaming. “We’re thrilled it was won on The Pig Wizard too, a popular game which was given a revamp just the week before.

“We’re committed to providing the very best branded and non-branded games, and look forward to many more big winners in the future.”

Sky’s the Limit

Sky Betting & Gaming is a British-based gambling company, owned by CVC Capital Partners and Sky plc, with headquarters in Leeds, West Yorkshire and offices in Sheffield, London, Guernsey and Rome. Sky Betting & Gaming consists of five core brands: Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Poker and Sky Bingo. Also under its umbrella is leading online betting odds comparison site Oddschecker. Sky Betting & Gaming also operates popular, free-to-enter football prediction game Soccer Saturday Super 6 and Sky Sports Fantasy Football.

On 4 December 2014, it was announced that Sky would sell a majority stake in the company to CVC Capital Partners, valued at £800 million. The sale was completed on 19 March 2015, with Sky retaining a 20% stake in the company and agreeing to a long-term licence of the Sky brand.

The Vegas Brand

Sky Vegas is the company's primary online casino division. It offers currently an online casino website. The company's online casino offering is distinguished from the majority of its competitors in that it now plays in-browser rather than requiring a software download (currently being flash based, formerly distributed on CD). The company uses the slogan 'All the best games, all in one place'.

Sky Vegas is licensed and regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) (GCB).

Until 12 April 2011, Sky Vegas had a dedicated TV channel of the same name on Sky channel 864 (which was formerly called 'Sky Vegas Live'), when it was rebranded Sky Bet.
