New Genting casino resort is on the way

The Genting resorts are not just about gaming, there is a whole package of entertainment awaiting you. The new resort, which will be built on the holiday island of Jeju, will be no different. This can be seen from the amount of money which will be invested into the eagerly anticipated project. The new Genting casino resort will cost up to as much as $1.8 billion, so gaming fans can expect a world of wonder and entertainment when they enter.

Top facilities expected

As well as providing a gaming wonderland, the new Genting casino resort will also feature a number of luxury accommodation units, a Landing-branded hotel, exhibition and conference areas, shopping facilities, and a number of fabulous eateries and restaurants. Parts of the resorts are expected to open as early as this coming December, however, the whole resort that includes the gaming paradise will not be completed until 2019.

What to expect this year

There are many entertainment facilities which holidaymakers will find to keep themselves occupied when visiting the Genting resort this year. It is expected that between now and the December opening date a number of new facilities at the site will be unveiled, including a family-friendly theme park that will be based around 15 rides and YG town, a bar and café that will be run by well-known entertainment agency YG Entertainment, who work with a number of South Korean entertainers, including many famous K-pop performers. Eventually, the Genting resort site will also include a second theme park – Lionsgate Movie World, as well as another hotel facility in the shape of the Four Seasons Resort and Spa.

This new resort will continue Genting’s successful establishment in the Asian market. Genting already have a successful gaming resort in Malaysia and they hope that this new resort in South Korea will be just as successful.
