First Lithuanian gaming license granted

2016-08-29 15:55:45

Gaming company TonyBet have successfully applied for a remote gaming device certificate from Lithuania. TonyBet has now become the first company to hold such a license. This has come about as a result of a change in law, which has introduced legislation that requires all gaming operators to apply and obtain such a license.

“The local gambling authorities are already blocking illegal websites making it harder for the players to access them,” commented TonyBet representative Warren Lush.

The sportsbook was founded in 2009 and by poker pro, Antanas Guoga, also known as Tony G. The provider operates both brick-and-mortar casinos as well as online casinos. Ever since its re-branding from Tony G. to TonyBet, the company has grown immensely.
