Special Features

This game is loosely based on the Poker variant Pai Gow but the crucial difference of this game is that you play with three hands instead of two. The object of the game is to beat the dealer with a better hand based on specific poker hand rankings.

To place a bet, select a few of the colourful chips which can be found in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Chips range in value from 1 all the way up to 100 so High Rollers will be pleased that you can pick some very high-value chips! You can place a bonus side-bet by placing chips in the ‘Bonus’ circle on the table. Placing chips in this circle qualifies you for bonus bet payouts which are displayed on a paytable on the casino table. For example, if your hand features 5 Aces then you are guaranteed a nice side-bet payout of 800 to 1! Once your chips are on the table, press the ‘Deal’ button to begin the game.

When a round starts, the player is given 7 cards face-up while the dealer is given 7 cards face-down. The cards are then arranged into 3 hands: a 4-card hand (High), a 2-card hand (Medium), and a 1-card hand (Low). Each of the 3 hands are then compared to the dealer’s 3 hands and the hand that has a higher value wins the round. You must have at least 2 higher hands than the dealer or you will lose your wager. Most hands played are generally quite easy to figure out but you should always bear in mind that the 4-card hand must be equal or greater in poker ranking than the 2-card hand. Similarly, the 2-card card must be equal or greater than the 1-card hand. It is also worth mentioning that a Straight or Flush is only played in the 4-card hand and they beat 3 of a Kind or worse.

If you find some joy with a certain bet then it is possible to reuse it as many times as you like. To do this all you have to do is click on the ‘Rebet’ button after a round ends. If you wish to remove the current bet then simply click the ‘Clear Bet’ button.

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The graphics are quite basic but this game is not too concerned with having a stylish presentation as it focuses firmly on the action that is played out on the table instead. The game is played on a dark green felt casino table which features a rather intricate Asian symbol design. Cards are neatly arranged into 3 different hands on the table and the Bonus side-bet table is cleverly displayed beside them.

The only sounds you will hear in this game are from the Live Dealer as he announces when to place bets and when a round has been won.

Win lines, Payouts and Jackpots

The game is played with a 52 card deck and has an RTP ranging between 96% and 97%. The maximum payout is 5,000 when you have 8888 and a Three of a Kind in your hand.

Below is a summary taken from the PayOut Table from the game.

Our Verdict on Asia Poker

Asia Poker is created by PlayPearls and it is a whole new way of playing online poker. The game looks daunting at first when you start playing but thankfully the rules are very easy to follow and you’ll pick it up in no time at all. I really enjoyed playing with 3 hands rather than 2 hands like in Pai Gow Poker, it just makes it that much more interesting to play. Poker players and even non-Poker players are going to really enjoy this unique Poker variant!
