Poker is one of the most popular card games of all time, so much so in fact that many different variants of Poker exist today. One such variation is Triple Poker. This take on poker has risen in popularity in the last few years, especially in brick and mortar casinos. PlayPearls decided to release a digital version of this game so players can now play it online from the comfort of their own home.

The game is played with a standard 52 card deck and features a Triple Bonus Bet option.

Special Features

The main aim of this game is to beat the dealer with the best hand. The game has two betting rounds, making it a much faster and more attractive version of Poker to play. Triple Poker is based on standard Poker hands.

To place a bet, all you have to do is select some chips from the deck and then start the game. The chips range in value from 1 all the way up to 100. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a high roller then the purple chips will be to your liking as each one is worth a massive 100!

Each time you place a bet, you have the option of placing a Triple Bonus side-bet. The side-bets offer some highly attractive payouts. For example, a Straight Flush pays out 60:1 but if you are lucky enough to have a Mini Royal then the payout is an incredible 200:1! A nice feature of the Triple Bonus bet is that it pays out regardless of the Ante game and it is even possible to win it even if the dealer beats your hand. Once you are happy enough with the chips you have selected, click on the “Deal” button to start the game.

The player is first given 3 cards that are dealt face-up and the dealer is given 3 cards that are face-down. Once all of the cards are on the table then the real fun begins. The player is given the option of raising or folding. Pressing the “Raise” button will double your original Ante bet and pressing the “Fold” button will end the current hand in play. Cards are then compared according to standard poker rankings and the dealer will only qualify when they have a Queen or Higher. If you raise and the dealer does not qualify then you will win even money on your Ante but if the dealer qualifies and has a better hand then you will lose.

If you find that you are having a rub of the green with a certain bet option then it is possible to reuse the same bet again and again. All you have to do is press the “Rebet” button after a round has been played. You can also remove the current bet by simply pressing the “Clear Bet” button.

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The graphics are quite dated, especially when you compare it to more modern poker games out there but this game is all about the action on the table so it is not too concerned with how it looks. Triple Poker is played out on a dark green casino table that features a colourful range of chips neatly arranged in front of an empty chair. Bet options are nicely displayed on the table so you know exactly what each hand will pay out.

The game does not contain any music but you will hear from an enthusiastic Live Dealer who will tell you when to place bets and when a round has been won.

Our Verdict on Triple Poker

PlayPearls produced this game and it’s a very fast and fun version of Poker to play. The presentation is a little basic but do not let that deter you from playing this game as it focuses firmly on the thrill of beating the dealer with a nice hand. The optional Triple Bonus side-bets are a nice addition to the game and it’s fantastic that the payout is 200:1 if you manage to have a Mini Royal in your hand.
